Tuition Payment Due Date

7 p.m. CST must pay all tuition to avoid being dropped for non-payment. The system begins processing drops at 7 p.m. exactly.

Payment Plans for Late Enrollees

Last day plan available. 

1. If you register on or after the tuition due date for the term, your payment is due the next calendar day before 7pm.  Payment plans are made available through the dates below to accommodate students who enroll in late starting classes.

• Summer 2026: June 22, 2026
• Fall 2026: September 21, 2026
• Spring 2027: February 15, 2027

Refund Checks

Students who do not have financial aid can call 847-214-7380 to request a refund sooner. After the date is listed, refunds are mailed weekly on Fridays (Thursdays in the summer term).

Drop Dates by Semester

Last day to academically withdraw from classes. 

FAFSA Priority Date

The priority date for submitting FAFSA & required paperwork to ECC. If you have your financial aid file completed by this date, your financial aid will be processed by the tuition due date, and you will not need to set up a payment plan.

• Summer 2026: April 1, 2026
• Fall 2026: July 1, 2026
• Spring 2027: November 1, 2026

Financial Aid Deadline

To receive financial aid, and if otherwise eligible, your financial aid file must be complete, and all required and requested paperwork must be submitted on or before this date. No updates, changes, or processing of financial aid will occur after this date for the 2024-2025 award year.

• Fall 2026: May 19, 2027
• Spring 2027: May 19, 2027

Financial Aid Excess Checks

Financial aid money left over from your financial aid package for eligible students. Loan students must be in 6 credit hours. Checks will be mailed on the dates below and must be cashed within 90 days.  ECC is required to send all uncashed checks back to the Department of Education

Grades

Grades are due by 4 p.m.
